Slingshot

This is the one painting I looked at longer than any other. Other paintings have tried to paint this very scene, and it seems that Goliath's head is just too small in proportion to David. As for this one, I think it is just right.

Here is the info about who did it.

Guido RENI - Bologne, 1575 - Bologne, 1642David vainqueur de Goliath Vers 1604 - 1606 H. : 2,37 m. ; L. : 1,37 m.

Saint-Germain Des Pres (I didn't try the magots)

This is where I tried clams for the first time ever. It was the appetizer. I thought it would be a plate with a few clams. Instead, it was a whole bowl of them, with cream sauce. The steak was great too. I aksed for medium and they actually cooked it that way. However, the food in Paris is prohibitively expensive, so we spent the rest of the time eating Gyros in Saint-Michel. This one restaurant there was so specialized, that they had, not just Tunisian food, but Southern Tunisian food.

Anyway, it is fun to eat out for 30 euros, just once but after a whole week, that can cost you a month's worth of rent. The other good thing they have there, are the crepe stands. Chocolate Banana Crepes are so good. And even cheaper than eating at Quick.

Quick sells a Cheeseburger that has 3 types of cheeses (one of them is Brie), and the bread is nice and stinky. The place was great, and they have Smarties(chocolate, not those things that look like cocaine in the form of a circle) mixed in the milkshakes.

Just don't drink the Diet Coke

Diet Coke in Paris tastes like they used the downstream water from the River Seine to make it. Other than that, McDonalds is not that bad of a place to eat.
